I am not sure if this comments belong in this section. However, issue of Auction Rate Securities have still not been resolved. The firms like Raymond James, while not resolving ARS have applied to OCC for bank license and may be they will be awarded.
While ARS is supposed to be backed by 200% in asset, liquidity is still elusive until SEC does something about it.
