I fully support this petition and ask that the SEC not only look at suspending dark pool trading for these stocks but for others as well. I also strongly support looking into the use of dark pool as it pertains to all stocks outside of large block trades coming from a single person. I believe the use of dark pools amongst other things is done intentionally to create an unfair market advantage for those who do not have access to dark pools or have large retail orders coming through. I also believe with each passing day a lot of retail investors who begin this journey with stocks like “meme stocks” will continue to lose faith in the SEC’s ability to ensure a clear, honest and fair market and will slowly but surely pull out their money and look elsewhere for ways to grow their money.
