Right now, there's no way to know how the corporations I've invested in are spending my money. This is a big problem because I really want my money used to support things I care about, like gender equality, health care reform, stopping climate change, and deregulating Wall Street. I also don't want my money used to help politicians I don't like.The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission should require corporate managers to be honest with their shareholders about how they are planning for the long term; whether they're recklessly pursuing profits and using my money to keep the status quo..
