Re: File Number 4-725 SEC Staff Roundtable on the Proxy Process

Mr. Fields,

I am writing to you regarding something very troubling to me and I do hope you take the time to read my letter.

My husband owns a small construction company and he and most of his employees invest in mutual funds. I would love to know why there are only two firms that dominate the market of information that advise these institutional investors. I find this alarming to say the least.

It truly is unnerving for us that we are so uninformed as to who and why recommendations are being provided to us. The lack of disclosure is beyond troubling to me.

I am pleased however to know that the SEC is attempting to create transparency for proxy advisory firms. I fully support them in their efforts as there must be checks and balances in this process.

Thank you,
Geanie Anderson
