Re: File Number 4-725 SEC Staff Roundtable on the Proxy Process

Dear Mr. Fields:

I am writing today regarding your upcoming Staff Roundtable on the Proxy Process.

As a widow of a World War II Veteran, I do everything I can to educate myself to make sure I am doing the right thing when it comes to my stocks in case there should ever come a time where I will have to depend on proxy advisors.

However, I have heard of proxy advisors are being told what to do by others and dont always have their clients best interest in mind.

I do hope conflicts of interest are not occurring, however, there must be more transparency in a business that puts peoples money at risk

I want to know that the firms in charge of voting do not have conflicts of interest and are not being paid to make recommendations on social issues that are popular at the time.

Thank you for your time and I do hope you give my letter every consideration.

Sincerely,
Rose Marie Malatesta
