Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Is the Purpose of the Government and the SEC specifically to give unfair and undue influence to a very small group of People because they are very, very, Wealthy People or is it to Serve all Citizens?

The Citizens of the United States have Every Right to Know Exactly Who are Trying to Complete Their Purchase of The US Congress. We Need to Know Who is Investing Their Money into Politicians to Gain Even Further Control and Pass More Laws that will Favor even further the Never Ending Greed for Money and Power of a Few People that Dominate Our Society. "We need to stop the Open and Hidden Bribery that are called Campaign Contributions. Please tell me a Good Reason that explains Why so Many People and Corporations want to Hide Their Campaign Contributions". Do they want to hide this money because they are "Shy" or is it because they are trying to Bribe their way to gain even further Influence and even Control of Congress, the Supreme Court and other Courts, and Our government?

Please Be Different and serve the 99% before the 1%

I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much the corporation spends on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC's web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Rory Athearn
