Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Dear members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

I believe the public should know where corporations choose to put their money when it affects legislation and policy that could be contrary to the majority opinion of the people, or even harmful to equality in our nation, as was the case with anti voter laws and right to kill laws pushed by ALEC using corporate provided funds.

This is bad for consumers, shareholders, and the public at large and gives corporations an unfair way to manipulate the government and the legislation that affects us all. It makes people unwitting supporters of political agendas or behaviors they would not necessarily endorse if they had knowledge of them. Transparency of financial dealings is a way to ensure we can all adhere to our ethical standards.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Veronica dogru
