Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Ruling to require public disclosure of political activities by publicly traded corporations is perhaps the single most effective thing the SEC can do right now to salvage any sense of confidence in American business and reaffirm the credibility of the SEC and its mission.

We are all shareholders in the American economy, and deserve the transparency that allows us to make informed decisions.  Political spending and behind-the-scenes manipulation should be seen for what they are, regardless of what they're labeled or where they fall on the political spectrum.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Barbara Warner
