Subject: File No. 4-637

February 2, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Our democratic system of government is the most precious resource we have and must be defended at all costs. No system of governance is immune to being undermined and corrupted by those who would like to gain power and wealth and by special interests. It is a slippery slope once the foundation of our democracy begins to get eroded. Citizens United is the begginnig of such an erosion of our democratic system. At the very minumum, there must be full disclosure of how corporations are using their funds for political ends so the public can know how they are influencing our government and have the opportunity to respond accordingly.

So I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Both shareholders and the public deserve to know how much a given corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates are being promoted or attacked.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Imre Kepes
