Subject: File No. 4-637

February 2, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

Corporations spend millions of dollars on political campaigns without the vote of shareholders or the public. This spending is the same as corruption with favors given and no accountability by either corporations giving or politicians accepting the funds.

I support your move to end secret political spending. Issue a rule quickly that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Everyone, including shareholders and the public, deserves to know how much each politically active corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates and causes are being promoted or attacked.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Jacobsen
