Would the SEC please require corporations to disclose to whom and for what purpose they give money. In a defacto sense this rule is in place among small businesses who choose to reveal their political choices at the site of business through signs and other political statements which do not involve cash payments. Why shouldnt large corporations also bear the consequences of their political donations? What is there to hide? As a stockholder I want to know how my companies money is being spent. As a citizen I want to know who or what is supporting candidates. With thanks, Steve Schwegler
