Subject: File No. 4-637

May 9, 2015

As you know, the Security and Exchange Acts of 1933 and 1934 describe the methods whereby publicly traded corporations behave responsibly and with transparency. Therefore, please issue a rule requiring disclosure of political contributions by publicly traded companies.

This action by you is owed both to the shareholders and to the general public who may purchase stock in these companies.

Please place a rule on the unified agenda by the end of May 2015 that will require disclosure of political spending, as laid out in file number 4-637.

This will demonstrate to all that the SEC takes responsibility and can be depended upon to do its best under existing legislation to serve the public interest.
