Subject: File No. 4-637

February 2, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

It's long past time to end secret political spending by corporations.

So I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule in the near future that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Both shareholders and the public deserve to know how much a given corporation spends on politics (directly and through intermediaries), and which candidates arNow that the country has experienced this Supreme Court Decision, Citizens United v. FEC, we now know that this is unfair to our political system. Corporations are not people, they do not face Jail Time if they are criminal in their actions i.e. BP's' recent fine for criminal actions. We the People have the right to have fair elections whit out this interference fro these big corp. donors.
AS a stock holder I have the right to know what political donations have been made by any company I have money invested in. If I did not agree with this spending as a stockholder I could object or sell my stock in that company. With this Citizens United case I have no way of knowing what the companies I am invested in are spending my profits on.
We encourage the SEC to put a stop to this political spending with out disclosure of PACs and Candidates contributed to.
Please make Publicly Traded Stock Companies to disclose all of money spent on any political endeavor.

being promoted or attacked.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,
