Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

February 2, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

It is critical to our democracy that corporations not influence our politics or, since that day is long day, that they not do so without full disclosure.

At the very least, we need the SEC to issue a rule that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

And the penalties for not doing so should be substantial.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Denise M. Driscoll
