Subject: File No. 4-637

Like so many Americans, I am disgusted with the influence of corporate money in the elective process.

The Supreme Court got it wrong in its ruling in Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission. Publicly traded corporations should not be able to secretly spend investor’s money on political activity.

I urge the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Shareholders and the general public have a right to be fully informed about political spending by corporations. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC’s web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.
