American citizens, including corporate shareholders, are being denied the First Amendment right to know who is saying what in the political arena, particularly those with enormous sums at their disposal. Are corporate actions so evil, their boards and executives so weasely, so cowardly, that they are afraid of people knowing what they do? Are they now free to spend and spend and spend to shape our government into their lackey?

They want their subsidies, they want larger subsidies, ever more and ever more. From the energy sector to Walmart, there is no corporate sector in the US that does not get subsidies from the taxpayers. These secretive operatives want the right to continue behind closed doors their emasculation of our precious and fragile democracy.

The Founding Fathers enshrined free speech in our Constitution, not secret speech.

It passes my understanding that the SEC has made this change.
