Subject: Require disclosure of corporate spending in politics.

Securities and Exchange Commission

Dear Commission,

The political power of Super Pacs' financial support in elections is obvious in the current Republican Primaries. The public should at the very least know the origin of these funds. The power of money in our political system skews legislation from the needs of the people to the advantage of corporations.

This is made obvious in an election year in which we will hope to elect those who represent our individual goals and those we deem paramount to the goals of the country. The anonymous corporate contributions are on a scale unfathomable to and hidden from the individual. Government institutions are responsible for the general welfare.

SEC: Exercise your regulatory authority to require public disclosure of corporate political contributions.

Sincerely,
Sheila Goldman
