Could the world have tilted so far in favor of management that minority shareholders are dismissed like so much chaff?

Could the once-sturdy SEC be bowled over by the deluge of money from corporate sources so that it has lost all determination to fight for the fair flow of information to shareholders--information clearly needed to make clearheaded decisions about investing?

Please weigh your personal legacy before you definitively drop consideration of the requirement to disclose corporate political spending from your agenda.
