As a citizen with stocks and therefore a stockholder in various corporations I am outraged that the Securities and Exchange Commission has dropped the rule requiring publicly traded corporations to disclose their political spending from their agenda.
I think I have a right, as a partial owner of a corporation, to know what the spending of that corporation is. I have a right to know about capital expenditures and the advertising budget, etc., etc. I also have a right to know about political spending.
Put the rule back on the agenda. Thank you.
