Subject: File No. 4-637
From: Rebecca Smith Randolph

December 3, 2013

I want to know how publicly traded corporations that I may do business with or am invested in may be spending funds on political campaigns!

Please return the rule requiring publicly traded corporations to disclose their political spending to the unified agenda--and make sure to complete the rule in 2014, as early in the year as possible.

CEOs should not be able to use my retirement savings and investments as a political war chest for partisan interests. Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much corporations spend on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC’s web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.
