There is no reason whatsoever that political contributions should be secret. It is an indecency and an affront to democracy and the spirit of America. Anonymity lets cowards hide and not be responsible for the often greedy, seamy, corrupt views they hold. Liars, cheats and scoundrels love that they can operate in the shadows. I say end this unholy practice now and forever.
