Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

It would be a waste of time to write or for you to read of the democracy crushing impact of secret unlimited corporate spending. Neither side of the issue denies the impact. One side believes it to be a right, and the other, to be the undermining of the very essence of our republican system.

I fall into the latter group. I believe that it is becoming easier to ignore the needs of the vast majority of Americans, and doing so while spending countless millions on deceiving them through the clever phrasing of well paid wordsmiths who can use the right combination of human heart tugs to inspire American to vote against their own economic an social interests.

This is no surprise to you, but you can do something about it. At the very least, American can know the amount of money that is being spent and by whom. If corporations truly believe that hey are exercising their First Amendment Right through the spending of millions of dollars, then the very least we should expect of them is to put their name next to it.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

James Cimino
