Securities and Exchange Comm.
Dear Securities and Exchange Comm.,
As a shareholder in a number of different companies, I should have a right to know how they are investing my money in terms of political issues. Surely I have a right to know to whom contributions are being made and in what amount. I already practice "ethical investing" and I ask you, as commissioners, to require companies to disclose ALL political spending so that I can continue to make my spending choices based on data made public to shareholders.
For you, this is also an ethical decision and I respectfully ask you to take what is clearly the appropriate path.
Sincerely,
D. J. Scholtz
