Dear members of the SEC:
I urge you to makea rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.
Democracy thrives on sunshine and dies in shadow. As long as they keep their political spending in shadow, the root of democracy is in danger. Make them report their activities.
In additon--and speaking as a shareholder--I don't want any corporate flack spending my possible dividends on politics unless they have my express approval. My politics may not agree with C-level politics, and I don't want them secretly fighting me in Congress.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. You are important watchdogs in our democracy. We depend on you to help us keep democracy going right.
