April 29, 2013
I am writing to urge the Securities and Exchange Commission to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending – and to do so this year.
Even Forbes and Barron's (April 27 issue) wrote that the SEC should require disclosure by publicly traded corporations.
Shareholders have a right to know how their money is being spent, especially on political issues.
Thank you for considering my comment.
Sincerely,
Douglas Snyder
