Please require publicly traded corporations to reveal their political spending, thus granting shareholders valuable information about how their money is being spent.
As you know, the American public is unhappy with the Citizens United ruling, largely because it allows corporations to spend their money lavishly and secretly on political elections.
The SEC cannot reverse Citizens United, but it can close the Citizens United loophole that allows for secret spending. It can also require that public disclosures be promptly posted on the SEC's web site.
I hope you will stand up for the public on this matter.
