Dear Sir or Madam:

I am writing in support of the petition identified as File Number 4-637. As an investor I believe that I should be entitled to receive details concerning the contributions made by the companies in which I invest.  It is my understanding that the mission of the SEC is to protect investors, and for that reason has required publicly traded companies to disclose financial information pertinent to their fiscal health and success.  I believe it is in the interest of investors to know what contributions are being made by the company, and which organizations and people are receiving those contributions.  I don’t see this as a political issue, but simple a matter of disclosure.  Let’s open the shades and let the sun shine in!  Thanks.
