Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:
I call upon you to perform the duty of your office to protect shareholders in public corporations. Specifically, I request you issue a rule requiring public corporations to disclose their political spending, especially donations to political campaigns. How else can a shareholder assess the soundness of a corporation's pursuit of profit and its soundness as an investment? There is no other way. Again, all current and potential shareholders must have easy access to this vital information. Please do your part.
