Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

February 11, 2013

Dear Members of the Securities and Exchange Commission:

We cannot any longer ignore the threat that massive amounts of concentrated money are to our existence as a democracy.

Secret political spending by corporations is a poster child for this existential threat to American democracy.

Americans have begun to be aware of this danger, so it is prime time for our institutions to step up to the plate and defend America.

Power is vested in you. Be worthy of our trust and lasting gratitude. I strongly support the SEC issuing a rule that would require publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their spending on political activities.

Thank you for listening to and considering our plea.

Sincerely,

Karen Sunde
