The Supreme Court's Citizens United ruling granted inanimate legal entities the same rights as sentient human beings. Before this ruling, sentient human beings also were held responsible for perjury, contempt, tax evasion and even occasional graft and corruption behavior. Even now, sentient human beings who make political contributions must certify that they are of age, state their profession and their donations are available via public record.
By continuing to allow corporations to make secret contributions. hiding their identities and contribution amounts, you are violating the principles upon which the Citizens United ruling was ostensibly made
