Subject: Comment on File Number 4-637

Novenmber 26, 2012

To the Securities and Exchange Commission:

As a consumer, I believe I have the right to know what political agendas the companies I support are funding. I feel strongly about several different political issues, and would like the opportunity to know what my purchases are supporting. There are several issues that I feel so strongly about that I would no longer support companies that funded opposing political parties. I stongly believe in capitalism, but how can I make an educated decision as to where my money goes if there is no transparency?

Therefore, I am writing to urge the SEC to issue a rule requiring publicly traded corporations to publicly disclose all their political spending.

Both shareholders and the public must be fully informed as to how much the corporation spends on politics and which candidates are being promoted or attacked. Disclosures should be posted promptly on the SEC's web site.

Thank you for considering my comment.

Sincerely,

Kate Pace
