The Securities and Exchange Commission

Dear Securities and Exchange Commission,

Having companies contribute to political campaigns is a flawed proposition. In fact I really don't like the fact that individuals can contribute either. It should be funded by the government and each candidate should get an even slice. That is the only way to ensure fairness.

I really don't want to support companies that support candidates that I think would cause havoc to our country's well being. But now, not only are companies allowed to make unlimited contributions right up to the end of a campaign, but we (the public) don't even know about it. Please fix this oversight in our laws immediately!

Sincerely,

Katrina Illari
