I am in favor of any disclosure rules that would allow investors to see who is betting against any given company.

But this is not as important a problem as naked short selling that occurs in the markets. The idea that someone can "borrow" shares that they do not own to a third party is criminal and highly destructive to medium to small size corporations that operate on small margins of profit. Naked shorting can be used by criminal elements and certain competitors to illegally impede companies that might have a promising future and provide decades of employment to our country and others. This issue should be taking all of your time, especially in our current economic climate.
