I am an investor in the small cap biotechnology companies, the short sellers have a field day every day with shorting the stock of these companies making it impossible for these companies to raise capital, forcing them to be delisted, delaying their ability to conduct ongoing and approved clinical trials and in many cases forcing them to cut back on badly needed research to find cures for new cancer vaccines and other unmet medical remedies.

These short sellers are destroying small investors and are doing it with relatively low risk because the daily trading volume of these companies is by wall street standards is meager, also the stock prices are what is called "penny stock". It is in the public interest that the SEC look into this serious problem.

An example, is a company called Neostem Stock symbol "NBS" listed on the Amex Stock exchange. There are many other examples that I can give if need be. the aforementioned example is pertinent because it involves the trading in this stock this week.
