Our Company has voluntarily withdrawn from the securities business largely because of the uncertainity of future regulation and the difficult business climate created by all the proposed legislation/requirements.

None of us can predict the future and there will always be money made and lost in any type of investment of risk. The best system is one that is fair but allows advisors and consumers the opportunity to discuss and make decisions without fear of unfair prosecution in the event things don't go the way someone wanted. The fiduciary standard being proposed appears to be designed to look back and encourage litigaton if things don't turn out well for a particular investment. That is not a healthy business climate.
