As a student and prior Aviation Reliability Supervisor working closely with the Federal Aviation Administration, I know how important it is to establish fair and equal compliance rules. Moving from aviation to the Financial Services sector, I believe more than ever, due to the financial issues during the past decade, that it is imperative that all financial professionals are held to the same high investor protection standards for all investment advice to protect the industry, and more importantly, to protect the investor. I am in support of a fiduciary standard for brokers who provide personalized investment advice to retail clients. Please work on implementing rules and laws that are fair and just for all financial professionals to improve our relations with clients.
