I've been in the business since 1986. I can't tell you the amount of extra work I do for compliance since then. I've had a clean record and still have the same compliance as the criminals. Enforce the rules firmly that you now rather making all of us pay the price of more compliance. You will continue to drive away good people in this industry since they won't have the tolerance to put up with the regulations. My practice is built on solid relationships with my clients. I don't need more paperwork (regulations) to prevent me from properly giving advice to my clients.
