I am against any additional regulations governing broker-dealers investment advisors.
In the 30 years that I have been in business, it seems like the regulations just keep coming coming. It is difficult to do business now with all the compliance requirements that we must live with. Additional requirements will force many people out of business cause additional law suits.
When is our country going to realize that it is not always someone elses fault? Isn't it about time we take some of the responsibility for our own actions.
I do not believe that additional regulations will help the consumer. The only thing I can see created by additional regulations is additional costs expenses. These additional expenses could create an additional reason that many Americans will be un-able to purchase the products that we offer, thus not having the finances needed at retirement or death. This would just create a larger burden on the already over taxed taxpayer.
