Please do not allow another regulation to go into effect regarding Registered Reps. We are already one of the most heavily regulated industries and it is becoming impossible to help the common citizen.
The audits Broker-Dealers are subjected to is more than enough to regulate our fiduciary obligations and they also try to look forward in preventing any abuse or non-compliance. I am afraid this new legislation will only look back and most of it will be too late to protect the consumer.
