In 2005, Citigroup transferred Tim Douglas to the Securities Lending Group as Department Head. His major initiatives were regarding self dealing. As former Co-head of the Global Securities Finance Desk, Mr Douglas viewed the function of Securities Lending to provide the cash reinvestment of customer proceeds from security lending to support Citibanks SIV programs.
