Let's all play a fiddle, while America burns. I watched yesterday's proceedings. I was sickened. Thirty percent of the time was wasted for resume reading and glad handing. 'My name is Mary Knownothing, I work at Ripemalloff Hedge Fund. I graduated from BLAH,BLAH,BLAH University. I want to thank the Commission for allowing me to come here and pull the wool over the eyes of the investing public. I really don't have any answers, but I specialize in double talk, so it will look like I do.
No mention of naked short selling, the ROOT cause of all our problems. Were are the REAL proponents of market reform? Patrick Byrne, Jonathan Johnson, Dave Patch, Robert Shapiro and Susanne Trimbath? Such a small list for such monumental problem.
The system needs a complete overhaul, not band aids. The overhaul needs to be done by people who are not servants of the monster. The DTCC should be investigated and then dismantled. And here's a nifty idea, the perpeTRAITORS should be tried, convicted and serve HARD time. No fine and a slap on the wrist.
Unless and until, someone takes a stand and tackles the real problems, I have no hope. We are doomed. I will take no pleasure ten years from now, when some of you sit in front of Congress trying to explain why London is the financial capitol of the world? Why is the USA a third world country? And most importantly, who is responsible for the blood on our streets?

DO SOMETHING, before it's too late.
