I am sure you have received several well written arguments regarding the uptick rule being reinstated, revised or rejected. I will make mine short and sweet. I am in favor of reinstating the uptick rule to it's original form with a five cent restriction, effective for all equities all the time with out any of the so called "circuit breakers".
Also, we need to uphold laws regarding "Naked Short Selling". I think a few public indictments will make any potential offenders think twice about committing the crime.
