Dear SEC,
I wrote about this issue many years ago along with a multitude of other people expressing our strong desire to eliminate naked short selling. Under the non existent leadership of our previous chairman, Christopher Cox, the naked short selling that was allowed to run rampant hurt the large and small investor across this country. It is illegal and immoral and yet was allowed to the benefit of few but to the detriment of many. I am hoping that the new chairman and commission will listen to the many people writing in that it is time to level the playing field and enforce the regulations. We must eliminate the "naked " short selling. An uptick rule for short selling would also help. Thank you.
