Dear SEC Chairman Christopher Cox,
I understand that a meeting is taking place this afternoon regarding the elimination of 14 (a) 8 which then not allow shareholders to file non- binding resolutions with the corporations of which they are part owner. I write to express my opposition to that change.
The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Agnes, headquartered in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, have been participating in this practice for many years, and I believe it has been beneficial to the corporations involved.
I urge you not to go ahead with this plan.
