To whom it may concern:
I truly believe by adding spreads to small cap stocks and IPO's our country will once again regain our place as the premier market in the world. Right now we are failing. Look at the current volumes and lack of ability to raise capital vital to a healthy market and country. Iam also in favor on creating a separate market for these stocks to trade so investors can be protected against High Frequency Trading programmes that destroy market quality as has been proven in the last few years. We are in desperate need of job creation and stable trading markets that also reward investors and traders for taking risk. This is crucial to our country as well. Whats wrong with creating good paying jobs that adds to the tax base and overall economy? The markets preformed this way for years till 2001 when the changes took place. Iam sure the people at the SEC will have the wisdom to fix this current mess. Even many of the foreign markets trade in multi tiered prices.
I appreciate the opportunity to comment on this very important issue.
