I'm writing to request regulations to prevent high frequency trading on US Stock markets. As a US citizen with investments in the stock market, it concerns me that large companies with sophisticated algorithms are extracting so much value from the market. In my opinion, the stock market exists so companies can raise money while maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship with regular peoples' retirement and brokerage accounts. High frequency trading is robbing the regular people of their honest capital gains.

Please do something to regulate the US Stock markets. My recommendation is to analyze the model executed by iextrading.com and enforce regulations on other stock exchanges to prevent high frequency trading.

Thank you,

Joe Osterfeld
