I am a retired middle class American who regularly invests for the medium and long term. I am sick and tired of what HFT does to me when I send a trade to my broker. I believe the IEX can protect my trades from HFT. I read the book and there website. IEX actually cares what happens to retail investors. It's right n there name. The Investors Exchange The other exchanges don't care. Any advantages the IEX gives are to help people like me make safe investments. That's why HFT is complaining about them. Aren't retail traders that what the SEC should care about? Don't take away IEX's right to be an exchange. Don't shut them down. Approve them and help make America great again. Thank you.
