The world needs such an exchange in existence. We now have the option to participate in the equity market and enjoy trade-data privacy protections which can decrease trading costs and subsequently increase trading returns. The years following are going to be hard for America, so lets make it easy for investors to have a good honest system. Electronic front running is a problem we have been facing since 2010. During WAR the honesty factor really helps build a reputation with the people of land in which you are operating on, so being honest is a way to save countless lives. IEX is the place for not exposing our orders to "electronic front running", "order anticipation strategies", and/or "event recognition strategies, where my orders are the event that triggers HFT arbitrage which increases my cost.
The SEC should allow IEX to become an exchange. it is consistent with everything the SEC's mission statement is about.
