7.  Property, Plant and Equipment, net

Property, plant and equipment consists of the following:

Equipment having net book values of $1.7 million and $2.0 million at December 31, 2022 and 2021, respectively, are pledged as collateral under various financing agreements.

During 2022 and 2021, $70,000 and $14,000, respectively, of fully depreciated property, plant and equipment was written off.  Depreciation expense for property, plant and equipment for the years ended December 31, 2022 and 2021 was $253,000 and $250,000, respectively.
