C. R. Bard, Inc. (“Bard”) today announced that, in connection with its suit against W. L. Gore & Associates, Inc. (“Gore”) for infringing Bard’s patent number 6,436,135, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit denied Gore’s petition for rehearing en banc on the issue of willfulness. Gore may petition for review by the U.S. Supreme Court.
